Elham Zare
Personal Trainer
Growing up, practicing martial arts allowed Elham to become more resilient, less anxious, and happier. By the time she completed her bachelor’s degree in Information, Science and Library, Elham had become a martial arts trainer, won several national competitions, and was awarded her second black belt. Later on, after the birth of her children, Elham was diagnosed with Diastis Recti, a separation of the abdominal muscles. In working to resolve that separation, she became fascinated with biomechanics and the way our bodies work. Elham went on to achieve her personal training diploma and ACE certification so that she could help others train their bodies and minds, and assist them to handle the things life inevitably throws their way. For Elham, training is a way of life: living –and training– have a way of exposing a person to challenging situations. When you are more fit and feel healthy, you can perform at your best through anything! Elham is currently pursuing her Kinesiology major at the University of Calgary, coaching gymnastics, and personal training.
