Lisa Wilder was adopted and raised in a Jewish family in Winnipeg. Unbeknownst to her adoptive parents, she had been placed into the adoption system during the “Sixties Scoop”. As an adult, she connected with her biological family and discovered the truth about her past. Today,
Lisa continues to carry on the traditions of her Jewish heritage, while proudly discovering and integrating those of her Indigenous roots.
This is a FREE event but donations at door will be accepted for the Golden Age department.
