Celebrate Tu B’Shevat, the most ancient and environmental holiday on earth! 4:00-5:00pm: Make a piece of beautiful tree wall art with upcycled materials. 6:30-7:30pm: Learn more sustainable techniques to reduce your footprint on our beloved planet. A workshop by local green experts.

A Tango Experience – The Jewish Connection
Sunday, March 22

Learn about the Jewish roots of this beautiful music in Jews & Tango (documentary film), enjoy a talk: Jewish & Tango Travelling in South America by expert tour operators in the region, try a step or two in a tango class, and then dance your socks off at the traditional Milonga!

Pesach in the Mountains – NEW!
April 9-12
Experience a communal Second Seder surrounded by the beautiful Kananaskis vistas at the Wilderness Hostel in K-Country. Kosher-style catered dinner and breakfast.

Public Speaking
Mondays: February 24 - March 30 (6 classes)

Learn to put together and deliver a short speech, using body language and eye contact to keep the audience’s attention. These classes will help you build confidence while adding a touch of humour to engage your listeners. All materials are included.

Playful Expressions –Techniques for Well-Being

Use your voice, body, mind, and spirit for greater clarity and joy! Celebrate each New Moon and receive daily inspiration from different art media such as acrylics, music, movement, and more. Your goal: to have fun and in the process discover your potential! All materials are included.

Israeli Folk Dance Ages 16+
Sundays, Jan.12-Mar.15
7:00 - 8:30pm (9 weeks, no class on Feb. 16)
Yael Guterman, Israeli RAD certified dance instructor, owner of La Pointe Dance Studio, will teach you traditional Israeli folk dance steps, combinations, and current Israeli dance choreographies. A moderate workout set to traditional and contemporary Israeli songs. A fun class to move your body and soul and connect with fellow dancers! No experience or partner required. Dress comfortably and wear exercise shoes.

Community Klezmer Band
Explore klezmer music and related musical traditions with Frank Rackow. Musicians of any instrument who are able to read and play music at an intermediate level may join this class.
